If you’ve found your way to my website, chances are you or someone you love and care about is experiencing a difficult challenge in life right now.

We typically seek counseling to relieve the stress and discomfort of unhappiness, confusion, relationship conflict, loss, or the strain of major life transitions. This first step is a courageous act, acknowledging that something is amiss in our lives — and so begins the reflective process of looking more deeply into our Selves.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate atmosphere for people who choose to explore their life circumstances. With courage and a sincere openness to self-exploration, it is possible to reveal the habitual patterns of thoughts, emotional reactions, and behaviors that are no longer useful. Lasting change is possible — in the light of self-awareness.

I feel that I have been called to do this work because I care about people and I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. I believe that all of life is a developmental process of self-discovery and maturation with the goal of self-acceptance.

I am extremely curious about people and their life stories. I am passionate about listening deeply and understanding that which my clients are exploring. I am honored to guide people through this rich and meaningful work — seeking their inner teacher who holds the wisdom of their life experiences.
